Semester Run Down

The first semester of my senior year here at Ohio Northern has just about came and went. It sure has gone quick, but it has been packed with memories that will last a lifetime. I truly believe I have lived up to my goal of being a 'yes' person and making the most of every day. I have learned a lot about myself, and even more about my roommates who have become even stronger of friends of mine. It has been difficult at times as the house requires cleaning every other day, especially after a good weekend. The struggles have been worth every second as I get to hangout with my best friends every single day.

While I have had a lot of fun with my friends, I am also relieved that the coursework for most classes is winding down, especially our senior capstone project. This semester, as a pharmaceutical and healthcare business major we were tasked with working alongside Cardinal Health, a large pharmaceutical wholesaler out of Columbus. I will admit it was a fun project to work on as it was a real life situation, but I severely underestimated the amount of work it would be. It was a great experience to have but I sure am glad it is over. I typically do not like working in groups for projects because there is always that one or two people that do less work than everyone else. Although this was the case early on, we eventually figured out how to work better as a team which made the project go much smoother.

Throughout this semester I have been trying to live it up to the fullest while finishing out strong on the academics side as well. I think I have accomplished this goal and cannot wait to see what next semester has in store.

  2. Capstone was definitely much harder than I expected as well! I’m so glad it is over and I’m ready for my next and last semester. I can relate to trying to be a “yes” person, and it can be difficult at times but it makes for fun memories!
